Manager (Brixton)

CHIPS is looking for a passionate and strategic Programme Manager to lead our community-based work in South London. This is a unique opportunity to join a young, vibrant team at a time of growth, helping to implement our new organisational strategy and deepen our impact. You’ll oversee our work with young people and families in Brixton, managing a small team and shaping a programme rooted in relationship, justice and faith. If you’re a hands-on leader who loves God and is called to stand with those on the margins, we’d love to hear from you.

Summer Activities Ambassador

This role is designed to support young people in Brixton to make the most of local activities and services available during the summer holidays. The successful candidate will play a key part in connecting with youth organisations to find out what’s happening, mapping this information clearly, and helping to share it with other young people — especially through social media. They will also support the planning and running of events during the summer. This is a great opportunity for a person starting their career journey (aged 16+) who is passionate about helping others, confident in talking to people, and interested in digital communication or community work.

Sessional Youth Worker

We have a pool of Sessional Youth Workers who work with us during our regular weekly activities and who are also asked for availability for one-off events as needed. Our Youth Workers are key to us delivering high-quality, relationship-orientated youth activities. If you are interested in supporting young people in Brixton as they navigate the ups and downs of life, then we’d love to hear from you.

We have a pool of Sessional Youth Workers and Youthwork Apprentices who work with us during our regular weekly activities and who are also asked for availability for one-off events as needed. Our Youth Workers are key to us delivering high-quality, relationship-orientated youth activities. Our apprentice scheme aims to give young people the opportunity to learn more about youthwork, to build their experience, and decide whether they’d like to pursue a career in this field in the future. This role is particularly aimed at people who have just finished school or are studying in college.
