Building sustainable futures free from violence

CHIPS (Christian International Peace Service) aims to bring about peace and reconciliation in areas of conflict or tension. We have nearly 60 years’ experience helping communities in the UK, Cyprus, India, the Philippines, Northern Ireland and Uganda; with our current projects being in Northern Ghana and Brixton, UK. We help communities build futures free from violent conflict through practical projects that both tackle the root causes of the division and bring the sides together to build trust and healthy relationships.

Our methodologies are built on the uniquely Christian understanding of peacemaking, knowing that Christ’s sacrifice reconciled man to God and man to man. We aim to demonstrate this love to the communities we serve and bring healing to the divides.

Upcoming Peace Conference!

Peace Conference

Join us for the Joint Peace Conference: Healing from Conflict from 24–26 April. Hosted by the Fellowship of Reconciliation, CHIPS, the Anglican Pacifist Fellowship, Pax Christi, and Church and Peace, this weekend will be a rich and inspiring time of connection, learning, and reflection.

There’s still space available, so why not come along, or invite someone who would value this experience?

Across the weekend, we’ll share in keynote talks, workshops, meals, and space to reflect—beginning Friday evening, a full day on Saturday, and closing on Sunday afternoon.

We’d love to welcome you. Get in touch to find out more or book your place.
